No, you do not need a referral to access our services.

A travel fee will be applied to all at-home appointments. The fee is calculated based on kilometres from your home to our address and range from $15-60.
Late cancellations of appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be billed at full rate.
We provide direct billing services for most extended health insurers. We recommend reaching out to your insurance company to gain a comprehensive understanding of the scope and conditions of your coverage.
YES we do! But, please take note that we do not provide direct billing in these circumstances.
WSBC and ICBC:
Activate does not have a contract with WorkSafe BC nor ICBC and cannot direct bill for physiotherapy services related to work place injuries nor motor vehicle accidents.
Clients in these situations are responsible for arranging with their case manager for coverage and personal reimbursement of all physiotherapy services, treatment plans and reporting expenses.
MSP:
Activate has opted out of direct MSP billing. While we are happy to submit your claim, we require full payment at the time of treatment and MSP will reimburse you directly.
For qualified individuals MSP provides benefits that cover $23 per visit for physiotherapy, up to a combined total of 10 visits per year. You can find more details and check eligibility here.
