There are many advantages to physiotherapy and occupational therapy provided directly within your home. First, functional assessments of how you move within your home can provide useful insight into challenges. Additionally, any recommendations for exercise and equipment can be uniquely tailored to your environment. Finally, a home-based therapy program may be better suited to you if you have transportation or accessibility challenges or simply if you prefer the comforts of your own space.
